The Making
Each relic begins with a single drawn wire, stretched, coiled, and shaped entirely by hand.
Every curve and seam is formed in the studio.
Slow. Deliberate. Human.
The filigree itself is made in 18ct gold, fine strands drawn thin, twisted together, and soldered into form.
Nothing is wasted. Offcuts are gathered and returned to the melt.
There are no moulds and no repetition.
Only metal, movement, and intent.
Through this quiet process, craft becomes language.
The Thread
A thread runs through every stage of making, from the first sketch to the final polish.
It sets the rhythm. Hand meets flame. Story meets material. Past meets present.
Each movement is an act of attention, a small devotion to patience and clarity.
Inspired by Ariadne’s gift, the thread guides the work.
It holds the process together and brings the piece home.
Through this motion, myth becomes matter.
Meaning takes shape you can hold.
The Material
Every strand of gold is drawn in-studio and re-used where possible.
Nothing is wasted; every fragment finds its way back into the work.
What endures is not only beauty but integrity,
the quiet luxury of care.
Each finished piece carries the trace of the hand that made it,
and the patience of its making.
The Devotion
At the bench, time slows.
Making becomes a steady breath.
Heat meets wire. Form finds balance.
The details decide the pace.
This is not worship. It is attention.
A practice of craft, of story, of restraint.
When the work is finished, the stillness remains.
It lives in the object as presence and weight.
A modern expression of an ancient language,
shaped by touch and guided by thread.
